Wireless Solution Sweden will be holding the next installment of Wireless University during LDI 2009, November 20-22 at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando. The Wireless University will be held on conference room 210B in the 2nd floor of Orlando Convention Center. All people visiting have a chance to win equipment for value of 2000 USD.
Wireless University is the popular series of presentations and hands-on demonstrations aimed at educating the industry on the technology and benefits of wireless DMX. The one-hour seminars are free to LDI attendees and will cover topics such as pros and cons of wireless control, how it works, radio protocols, choosing a radio system, system planning, and the importance of co-existence in the wireless superhighway. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, attendees will have the opportunity to win 2000 USD in W-DMX equipment. “The response to this educational series has been overwhelming,” says Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution, “We have seen distributors, lighting designers, and even students attending and everyone has given positive feedback that it was time well spent. The fact is, the more we all know about wireless DMX technology, the quicker it will become a standard practice and help make a lot of installations easier, eco-friendlier and more cost effective.” The programme has been held during LDI in the past, as well as other major trade shows such as PALME Asia and PLASA, with attendees giving high remarks to the educational value of the programme. Lotta Schiefer, EMEA sales manager for Wireless Solution comments: “Wireless control is rapidly increasing in popularity and one of our missions is to educate people so they have a better understanding of this technology. While the technology is extremely reliable and can be as simple as plug-n-play, the failures that occur are usually due to a misunderstanding of things such as antenna selection or other options. We simply want to provide accurate information to improve wireless practice.”
