Wireless Solution Sweden AB was recently a “green” participant for Allt Ljus på Uppsala 2010 (“All Lights on Uppsala 2010”). The project began in 2008 in Uppsala, Sweden
a variety of 10-15 buildings, statues and trees. Around these objects, a guided tour of 4 km (2.5 miles) was created. The event took great care in promoting the city after dark with all its beautiful facades etc. as well as promoting and improving public health by getting people out of their apartments at night walking around and experiencing it all. The project was a huge success and the Uppsala Municipality decided to make the project a biennial event therefore reoccurring this year, 2010. One of the objects of 2010 was the old mill in the city centre and the water surrounding it. Kreativ Teknik AB took it upon themselves to create and transform the area into a dynamic coloured adventure with music and sound effects. The theme was “The Four Seasons” and the site went from winter through spring and summer to autumn, all to the music of Antonio Vivaldi in a 7-minute long pre-programmed automated show. Trees, water, facade, grass and a small waterfall were lit by LED-fixtures among others and the team had great help with the W-DMX system since some fixtures were inside the mill, some in trees 200 meters away, some high up in a tree and some down in the water. The whole show was programmed and time coded and later saved to a show store in order to be fully automated from 16.00 – 24.00 every evening from the 29th of October to the 29th of November. Kreativ Teknik supplied lighting and audio Design by Lina Denne, technical design by Marcus Persson and programming by Jonas Hessel.
