Wireless Solution Sweden AB recently teamed up with Israel distributor LED Lighting Solutions Ltd to provide W-DMX™ technology to the beautiful new highway entrance to Eilat City in Israel. Eilat is Israel’s southernmost city, a busy port and popular tourist resort located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, on the Gulf of Aqaba.
Lighting designer Kobi Rozental specified 80 W-DMX units to deliver wireless DMX to colour changing streetlamps along the main highway leading to the city, at a distance of approximately 1,3 km (.7 miles). The streetlamps change colour in a chase, leading the way to the city. LED Lighting Solutions in Israel supplied all W-DMX equipment and lighting. Ory Yaffe of LED Lighting Solutions said, “We Could not install wires between the pillars, so wireless signal was the only option in this case. It works great and the signal is solid.”
LED Design technology has gained momentum over the years and has many advantages compared to other lighting solutions. The owners have backgrounds and experience in the field of lighting design, supervision and execution of projects for many years. LED design was created to developed solution for needs relevant to various fields of lighting. All LED Design products have been manufactured under high standards in a high tech facility in Israel since 2007.
“This is a beautiful outdoor architectural application,” says Niclas Arvidsson, CEO for Wireless Solution, “LED Lighting Solutions has a keen eye for creative solutions using LED technology. We look forward to seeing more successful projects from them.”
