W-DMX™ and United Light Enter OEM Partnership

Wireless Solution Sweden AB is pleased to announce French manufacturer United Light as its newest OEM partner, with their latest product, WiPLUG, using W-DMX technology.

The United Light WiPLUG is the simplest solution for wireless DMX. An essential tool for any show, WiPLUG can input or output DMX wherever there is a supply point, presenting itself as a smart extension cord, copying power and providing a DMX connection. The device has a small and rugged housing with an M8 stud to fix a C-hook.

As with all W-DMX products, WiPLUG is available on the 2.4 GHz band or optional dual-band 2.4 + 5.8 GHz in selected countries for harsh indoor environments, has full support of RDM, and features quick and easy setup with a single button on the front panel of each unit. WiPLUG comes with an unbreakable antenna version or an N connector version and is compatible with the entire Wireless Solution range (G3, G4 and G4S).

United Light says, “The frequency hopping technology (AFHSS) used automatically adapts the band and the transmission channel in relation to the detected radio traffic, allowing interference-free coexistence with other systems like WiFi, wireless microphones, or intercom.
