Mark your calendar! Wireless Solution Sweden AB is proud to announce the 3rd Annual W-DMX™ Visionary Awards, to be held during LDI in Orlando. LDI attendees are invited to the Swedish vodka and meatball party commemorating this special ceremony on Saturday, November 21, starting at 4:30 pm in Booth #1075.
The W-DMX Visionary Awards give special recognition to individuals and OEM clients in the professional lighting industry who have taken the potential of W-DMX and applied it in new and exciting ways. At 5pm, Wireless Solution will present Swedish gifts to this year’s Visionary. ”This year’s award is special,” says Niclas Arvidsson, CEO for Wireless Solution, “We’re including OEMs in our selection process, as they have helped take the W-DMX line into new territories and making it a standard for wireless DMX around the world. We wanted to recognize and reward the creative minds behind these products.” While sipping on complimentary vodka and sampling Swedish meatballs, guests can browse the newest additions to the award-winning W-DMX product range, including the new Installation Series and the W-DMX UglyBox Performance Kit, which combines the new W-DMX UglyBox with a Co-Existence Dongle and a wide selection of antennae to provide feedback on all aspects of wireless signal (never before available to lighting technicians). The Co-Existence Dongle ensures harmony of multiple wireless protocols by enabling custom channel selection and adjustment of output power. The rugged UglyBox test tool measures the DMX channel data values, the real time signal strength, and the history of signal stability. Together with the accompanying software for radio spectrum monitoring and antenna calculation, it ensures a safe, controlled environment for wireless DMX. The kit is nominated for both a Debuting Product Award and a Members Choice Award at LDI. And don’t forget Wireless University, the popular series of free presentations and demonstrations aimed at educating the industry on the technology and benefits of wireless DMX. Seminars will be held Friday, November 20 at 2pm, Saturday, November 21 at 11am and 2pm, and Sunday, November 22 at 2pm.
