Wireless Solution is celebrating this week to reach a production volume of 30,000th unit of W-DMX™ shipped since 2005. Considering the product was introduced to the market only 5 years ago, this is certainly an achievement of which to be proud.
«We’re extremely pleased – with this continuously rising volume, we’ve actually been able to reduce prices and pass the savings on to both OEM clients and lower the cost of the boxed units,» says Wireless Solution CEO Niclas Arvidsson, «We now have over twenty OEM clients and a solid distribution network worldwide, proving that W-DMX has indeed become the ‘unOFFICIAL’ industry standard.» The yearly production for 2010 is planned to reach a volume up to 15 000 W-DMX units including OEM and W-DMX Boxes. The company plans to hold its popular Visionary Awards and Swedish meatball and vodka party during LDI in Orlando to celebrate the success. «The awards this year will have a special surprise,» adds Arvidsson, «We want to bring focus to some very special people. It will be a celebration not to miss!» The Visionary Awards will be held on Saturday, November 21 in booth 1075 on LDI Show in Orlando. W-DMXTM by Wireless Solution Sweden AB has become the world standard for wireless DMX, winning awards on both sides of the Atlantic. W-DMX «outshone the rest» in an independent test (Lighting & Sound International). Specified with perfect results in high-profile lighting projects everywhere, W-DMX has been used for lighting the Pyramids of Giza; Céline Dion’s Taking Chances Tour; Times Square in New York City; the 2008 Nobel Prize Banquet; the world’s largest Ferris wheel, the Singapore Flyer; and many more.
